About Us

Architectronix offers a wide range of medical, retail, hospitality, food service and commercial architectural design services.

Established in 1986, Orange County-based Architectronix rode the wave of Southern California’s boom economy to quickly establish a reputation for delivering high-quality architectural service projects on-time and on-budget. That hasn’t changed.

While overseeing the growth of Architectronix into a firm of national significance, Founder and President, John M. Rix, continues to provide his vision and expertise by maintaining principal involvement on every project.

Architectronix medical group involves you in the design process, so your personality and values are reflected in a built environment devoted to better patient wellbeing and care. The resulting design flow promotes higher quality staff/patient interactions.

With state licenses through the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB), Architectronix,Inc. undertakes projects of national (and international) scope across the medical, food service, retail, commercial and industrial sectors.

By focusing on you – your goals, opportunities and even your limitations – we achieve a level of understanding that ensures accountability in every facet of our work. Our roots are in hospitality, so of course we know the importance of serving you to the highest degree possible.

The firm’s extensive portfolio of retail restaurant work is largely the product of a long-time collaboration with Yum Brands, owner of Panera Bread, Taco Bell, KFC, Spectrum Restaurant Group’s Prego Ristorante, Lonestar Steakhouse, and others. Our medical portfolio is just as impressive, with City of Hope, Stanford Medical, USC, Varian Medical Systems and 21st Century Oncology among our clients.

Prego Restaurant

Prego Ristorante

Perhaps the best translation of the highly used Italian word. Prego, is “ You’re Welcome”, means “you’re welcome to the best of everything”. The dining experience is matched with the dining environment that is fashionable yet casual. Interiors are warm and uniquely decorated to reflect an Italian feel and can feature vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, large framed windows, gleaming copper combined with an exhibition kitchen that accentuates this polished and inviting setting.
